I’m grateful for each one of you who take the time to read my weekly sermon blog, use my study questions and watch my video as I keep in sync with the Revised Common Lectionary readings and keep in tune with the Christian calendar. I also send out a weekly letter via snail mail or email to those who are active participants in this ministry. Some of you have sent me funds for postage, ink, paper, and envelopes–thanks so much! I also use the funds given to OLIT to help people in need, and to support special causes in our local area. Recently following our move to East Texas, I was commissioned as the Hope Avenue champion for Grace Communion Big Sandy. I am actively involved in this local expression of Jesus’ worship ministry through GCI in this community, and hope to be able to participate for many years to come.

I also support the church planting initiatives of Grace Communion International, and have used OLIT funds to provide support. This year’s donation is to GC Durham, North Carolina. If you would like to contribute to this church plant, please click here. Because I receive limited funds, I am unable to support causes other than local initiatives and this particular church plant. I know there are many needs in our international community, and I regret that I am unable to offer support in these cases. I pray God will supply your every need, as he has promised, for he is faithful.
